One-day Puccini Symposium

To kick off the Puccini anniversary year 2024, the Centro Studi Giacomo Puccini, the Edizione Nazionale delle Opere di Giacomo Puccini and Carus-Verlag are jointly inviting you to a one-day Puccini symposium in Stuttgart.

The conference is dedicated to the memory of the Stuttgart Puccini researcher and important Carus author Dr. Dieter Schickling, who passed away on 16.1.2023. In their contributions, internationally renowned speakers such as Siel Agugliaro, Giulio Battelli, Virgilio Bernardoni, Gabriella Biagi Ravenni, Deborah Burton, Marco Gallenga, Andreas Gies, Peter Ross, Uwe Wolf and Klaus Zehelein will present the current state of Puccini music research. In the accompanying musical program, some of the latest discoveries of the Centro Studi Giacomo Puccini and the Edizione Nazionale delle Opere di Giacomo Puccini will be performed in public for the first time.
